ABOUT CLEAR CREEK CROSSING
Clear Creek Crossing, located at the southwest quadrant of Hwy 58 and I-70 in Wheat Ridge, is a planned mixed-use destination including retail, hotel, multifamily residential and employment. CCC will focus on a community-driven approach, creating connections to surrounding neighborhoods for easy access into and through the site. The mixed-use development will become a “place to be” in the neighborhood, with new opportunities to shop, live, work and entertain. Currently, major infrastructure at Clear Creek Crossing is under construction. To date, sites have been sold to SCL Health for a future 26 acre medical campus and to Evergreen’s multifamily team for construction of Outlook Clear Creek, a 310 unit luxury apartment community. Pending land sales include a financial services branch/offices, a fuel and convenience store and a Hampton Inn & Suites, with ongoing negotiations pending on half a dozen restaurant concepts and additional anchor tenants.
I-70 (WESTBOUND) RAMPS AT CLEAR CREEK DR OPENING SOON
Adjacent to the Clear Creek Crossing development, the on/off ramps accessing the Applewood neighborhood via Clear Creek Dr from westbound I-70 north of 32nd Ave. are scheduled to open in February 2020. Funding from the City’s 2016 2E ballot initiative is financing construction of these westbound I-70 on/off ramps, plus a fly-over bridge connecting the new and existing on-ramps to I-70 westbound at 32nd Ave, as well as Clear Creek Dr between the new ramps and 32nd Ave. Surrounding business owners and the public will be notified of traffic pattern changes approximately two weeks before the new ramps open as well as throughout the duration of fly-over bridge construction over the next year.
